The new CTEK D250SA, 5-step charger, gives 4WDers the flexibility and ease of quickly charging up your service batteries from either traditional or smart alternators or from solar power. It will even give your starter battery a maintenance charge when your service batteries are fully charged.

Temperature compensation
120A DC/DC Power Management Solution , when combined, the CTEK D250SA and CTEK SMARTPASS 120 provides even more advantages to vehicle owners. As an integrated system, the CTEK SMARTPASS 120 manages the energy transfer through the CTEK D250SA , which then converts and produces the optimal voltage of 14.4V, even if the alternator only produces 14V.
The Smartpass 120 has the ability to perform as advertised but this is subject to the charging system it is connected to having the capacity to charge at 120 amps and the battery / batteries being able to accept that rate of charge.
