Refine your cycling with the Edge 500, A lightweight GPS packed with data the edge 500 can track speed, distance, you location & elevation. With the addition of ANT+ Technology pair a compatible heart rate monitor, speed cadence or power meter. 

The low profile bike mount makes attaching the edge 500 to your handlebars a breeze. Featuring a simple to use quarter turn system, Twist and lock it in and you're ready to ride. Acquiring satellites has never been easier of faster with the new highly sensitive GPS with Hotfix.

While riding the Edge 500 measures your speed, distance, time, calories burned, altitude, climb and descent, and records this data for your review. The Edge 500 also incorporates a barometric altimeter for those more precise changes in elevation. 

All ANT+ compatible power meters work with the edge 500 to deliver valuable data as you need it, displaying output in watts as you ride regardless of the conditions.  

Training features such as Auto pause, Auto lap, Temperature readings in addition to a courses and motion alert ( alerts you if your moving and the timer isn’t running ) feature make the edge 500 a well rounded little unit.  

Keep track of your fitness level when paired with an optional Garmin heart rate monitor. The Edge 500 tracks heart beats per minute and uses your heart rate for advanced calorie computation, so you know how many calories you're burning. Set heart rate zones and compare against past training sessions.  

Using Garmin Connect to analyse your ride has never been simpler, Plug your Edge 500 into the computer using the provided USB cable and your training data is at your finger tips to compare, share and analyse.
